This customer has a double hipped Edwardian style conservatory in Cornwall. The conservatory was getting sun from every angle, causing the temperature within the conservatory to be incredibly hot in the summer. Then in the winter this conservatory was not keeping the heat in causing the conservatory to become a lot colder. To resolve the issue, this customer had Stadurlon FB-1/SL panels with an additional acoustic layer option added to their conservatory. The panels were added to all of the conservatory, except for the South facing end which would allow for a suntrap, keeping the natural light. The acoustic option allows for the deadening of the sound of rain drops onto the conservatory roof. This makes the conservatory quieter in the winter allowing for further, more regular use of the room.

This customer has a Victorian style conservatory in Worcestershire. The conservatory was getting towards the end of its life, with the panels becoming discoloured. The conservatory was increasing in temperature in the summer and becoming too cold in the winter. This was not allowing for the full utilisation of the room. To resolve the issue, this customer had Stadur Top/Stadur Top Phon with some additional features added to their conservatory; colour option, Copper Brown, and the acoustic layer option. The acoustic option allows for the deadening of the sound of rain drops onto the conservatory roof. This makes the conservatory quieter in the winter allowing for further, more regular use of the room. Skylights/vents or the original panels can be added in or kept to allow for natural light.

This customer has a lean-to style conservatory in Devon. This customer wanted to get more use out of their conservatory, especially since the recent Covid-19 lockdowns in the UK. This conservatory was getting high doses of sun in the summer, making the room uncomfortable to stay in, whereas in the winter the room was a lot colder, causing decreased use. To resolve the issue, this customer had Stadurlon FB-1S/L with the addition of the acoustic layer option. The acoustic option allows for the deadening of the sound of rain drops onto the conservatory roof. This makes the conservatory quieter in the frequent stormy weather in the winter, allowing for further, more regular use of the room, especially when used as a study.

Some lean-to conservatories use a system called Ultralite 500. When these systems need to be changed, like this customers conservatory, then we offer an alternate option. Self-supporting panel systems gives you the opportunity to substantially boost the thermal performance. These panels are typically between 60 to 75mm thick, but they can be up to 100mm thick, provided that there is enough space within the already existing structure (flashing and other obstructions like gutters or vents).
