The conservatory was getting sun from every angle, causing the temperature within the conservatory to be incredibly hot in the summer. Then in the winter this conservatory was not keeping the heat in causing the conservatory to become a lot colder. To resolve the issue, this customer had Stadurlon FB-1/SL panels with an additional acoustic layer option added to their conservatory. The panels were added to all of the conservatory, except for the South facing end which would allow for a suntrap, keeping the natural light. The acoustic option allows for the deadening of the sound of rain drops onto the conservatory roof. This makes the conservatory quieter in the winter allowing for further, more regular use of the room.
This customer has a Victorian style conservatory in Worcestershire. The conservatory was getting towards the end of its life, with the panels becoming discoloured.
